Burnt wire smell

However, we during last use it gave a heavy burnt wire smell and we stopped using it. It gets two stars because of the price. We had a GE for over 15 years with no issues. No more insignia for us.

Sometimes the standard 2min or 2.5 min for popcorn won't pup not even half of the bag, other times it would burn. Whenever I heat up the soup, after 2-3 minutes it's cold, not even warm a bit. I am sorry I didn't use it more frequently during the time frame when I could return it.
