It doesn't just pop open. Very irritating, every time. I will return the unit. Too much trouble for simple use.

It works just as I hope it would even as a 700 watt, and it’s great for dorming. It doesn’t get too hot and barely makes noise. Highly recommend!

It had a dent in the top and the door catches. I guess no one looks when something comes back before they sell it to someone else. I'll live with it since I'm 76 and getting it out of the box and set up was quite a task.
