Interior size not accurate

The opening is exactly 12 inches side to side; if you have a 12 inch container that you are trying to put in, you will have to tip it to get it in. Once it’s in, it will scrape one wall as the turntable spins even with the extra indent in the back and in one side. Otherwise, it was beautiful...not sure how it microwaves because I purchased a larger one to meet my needs. Hope this helps with your planning and purchasing!

When my old micro wore out I thought I could never replace it with one I would like as much. WRONG! This microwave is wonderful. Also, a huge thank you to the young man who not only helped me find what I was searching for but helped me check out and even took it to my car for me. 5 Stars and more for customer service. l love Best Buy.
