A dinner plate just barely fits, so it is a little smaller than I thought it would be. The glass plate seems to come off of the wheels quite easily. It has a lot of presets, which are very nice. My old microwave only had a one minute preset. This one has 30 seconds (the start button), 1 min., 2 mins., and 3 mins.
