Performance Microwave

This little microwave performs as well as our large GE and it takes up little room on the counter. Very handy and we don't miss the larger range hood microwave thanks to this smaller one.

We finally had to replace the old one that used a dial/timer, so switching to the current day buttons only microwave took a bit of time but it's just as easy to use. It even cooks our popcorn faster. The popcorn button isn't worth pressing to be honest. 2 minutes seems to be the sweet spot for a standard size bag of popcorn.

Then little by little the microwave oven started warming up the dish more than the food that was in the dish. Last week I put a small dish with food in the oven but it warmed the food just a little bit and after one minute, the oven turned off completely. I unplugged it for safety because the oven was very hot. I am afraid to use it again because it could be a safety hazard for my household.

Short life

I will mention that it was very usable for about a year and a half. It got minimal use - heating single dishes or popping popcorn. It eventually short circuited and overheated horribly!
