I still have trouble getting the rack inside into the grooves but I think that's a me issue and not anything on the microwave. Would totally recommend!

The gift recipient has had nothing but praise for this. She said it is perfect size for her counter area in her kitchen where was space for it. She said it has great cooking power, at least for what she uses it for such as heating up leftovers, making oatmeal, and popcorn. She highly recommends this!

worth the extra few bucks

Now, I am sure. Express buttons make heating quick. Volume on/off button makes it less annoying. And the power saving button makes it so I don't have to keep unplugging it to save on the energy bill. I am a satisfied customer

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had the Insignia™ - 0.9 CF Compact Microwave - Stainless steel since early December 2020, which is I think a greater stretch of in-use time than any other microwave owned by me. In the past I’ve also used/owned Kmart sold Proctor Silex brand and Walmart’s Mainstays 0.7 CF microwaves, and an Emerson given to me. This one, the Insignia 0.9 CF microwave is better in terms of product life, and it works well. I use the appliance heavily. I’ve run into trouble with the label which shows settings. Maybe I took off a clear protective layer which i should have left on. Other than the label problem, which I may have caused myself, it’s good, the product. Worth the cost. I'm not sure I caused the label problem, so I'm using four stars instead of five. --
