I went with the stainless steel for a few dollars more and it was worth it. This is great for a smaller apartment or college dorm. I love the rotating turntable. It cooks the food more evenly. No problems as of yet, nor do I expect any.

It satisfies that need. Wish that it would not make so much noise when you shut the door. The price was right as it was on sale. It had a strong unpleasant odor inside, but it has now dissipated. Overall, it seems to do the job intended -- to warm up leftovers.

I read the reviews and found this to be about the most praised in the category I was after. About the only negative I found was "noise." I haven't really noticed it. The turntable rotates noticeably slower than the one in my old one but I'm not sure that's a negative. After I made my purchase I found some home units with even higher wattage - but much higher price tags. I know Insignia is a Best Buy house brand on all kinds of items, but I have to assume the products come from factories that also produce the more costly "name brands." If this works as well as my Insignia Bluetooth headphones, Insignia Google Home type device, or any of my other Insignia-branded items I'll be well satisfied. I'm still learning how it works, and what commands to use, so the instruction manual stays right beside it.

Real good deal on sale less than $50 I was surprised how quiet it is when running! The blue lit panel is much cooler than the old green looks sleek and new. Good job Insignia!
