Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Both Insignia 1000 & 700 excellent microwaves... depends on space and requirements... 1000 of course a bit larger and more powerful... just right Id say as many cooktimes are dictated closer to 1000watts 700 is smaller and have to "zap" longer but still does a great job!
