Good microwave for the price.

Next time, I would go for a different model without the child lock. Unfortunately, it wobbles on the counter. Had to use a plastic card to balance it.

Inexpensive But Effective

Other models have features like air fry or convection, but this one for the price will get the job done. I normally use the microwave for reheating food and I can not complain as it does just that without fault. I like the latch that is used to open the door as it feels more secure than ones you just pull open. For those that like to set the time on the microwave, it is nice and bright in the dark. If you want a no frills microwave at a great price, this will get the job done

I just bought this microwave to replace one that had "died" after 15+ years. This one works great! No bells or whistles: I don't need a microwave to cook a gourmet dinner, just basic microwave functions. I really like the childproof handle and the reminder that the cycle has finished. A plus is the clock/light: it is bright enough to be a nightlight in the kitchen. I have a lot of faith in the Insignia brand and expect no problems.
