    So far, so good. I just bought this microwave to replace one that had "died" after 15+ years. This one works great! No bells or whistles: I don't need a microwave to cook a gourmet dinner, just basic microwave functions. I really like the childproof handle and the reminder that the cycle has finished. A plus is the clock/light: it is bright enough to be a nightlight in the kitchen. I have a lot of faith in the Insignia brand and expect no problems.

    Once I figured out the new safety release knob at top of the handle ( why read the instructions ?), it is great. My next challenge is to figure out how to change the clock !!!

    [Employee of bestbuy] This microwave is nice, this is the 3rd insignia one I have had in the last 6 years. After a few years they start to turn on by themselves and turn off. Hoping this one doesn’t do that.
