I’ve been using this microwave for a few weeks now and I’m genuinely impressed with its performance. It heats food quickly and evenly, which is perfect for my busy schedule. The controls are very user-friendly and intuitive – even someone who isn’t tech-savvy can operate it without any issues. One of the features I love most is the defrost function, which works much better than I expected. It thaws food evenly without cooking the edges. The sensor cooking is another great addition – it automatically adjusts the time and power level based on the type of food, and it works like magic. The microwave is also very quiet, which I appreciate. It doesn’t make loud banging sounds when running or when the door closes. The size is ideal – big enough for large plates but still compact enough to fit on my countertop without taking up too much space. Overall, this microwave has been a great addition to my kitchen, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient appliance!

Insignia™ - 1.1 Cu. Ft. Countertop Microwave The Insignia Countertop Microwave is very easy to use.  It fits very well in a small space. A small footprint on a microwave has its advantages. The microwave seems to be well made and light and portable. It is the perfect size for a small kitchen or perhaps a recreation room. I feel it is well made and lightweight.  The open lever on the door handle was different than I’m used to using but I caught on fast.  I set it up effortlessly, got the plate inserted and I tried several of the preset settings which were well thought out for what the microwave would be used for. They heated to a very nice consistency. The defrost worked well without cooking the edges much. Our favorite shortcut button is the popcorn setting.  The casserole dishes I used sets evenly on the tray without weighing it down or stopping it. I tried a frozen dinner and it heated through well. Most of the food turned out as it should, heated evenly -outside as well as inside and was a constant temperature. I would recommend this microwave.

An absolute great microwave. There is a button on the handle to open the door. I don’t think it is necessary and probably will be the first thing on it to break. Other than that it is a very large and powerful microwave that can handle any task.

As someone older, it's a little more difficult to read the labels below the buttons. With better lighting (and readers), it's easier to read. (Backlighting would be nice, but not necessary.) The LED lighting for the time is extra bright. It would be nice if that could be adjusted so it isn't so bright at night. The power is good and although it only beeps once at the end, it does beep twice if you don't take your food out right away. I do like being able to push the start button for an automatic 30 second timer and adding another 30 seconds for each additional push of the start button... same with the beverage button. A 10.5" dinner plate easily fits inside. Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase.

There are several things that needs to happen for a microwave; heat up the food, heat it up well and uniformly, ability to control temperature, able to control timer. Those are the basics and this unit meets this easily. Then some features that make life convenient, the auto defrost, popcorn setting, reheat , +30 seconds, many of these are easily included in the onscreen display. What stood out to me are two things for this unit; the extra auto settings and there’s a little sticker to remind you of all the extra settings available to you. In a pinch you can put in the auto settings by referring to the sticker as you open the microwave. Maybe it’s just all the units I’ve used in the past, but this was helpful for a quick reference and the additional programmed setting was appreciated. The last thing to talk about that I’m sure stands out in everyone’s mind is the handle. The handle requires to be held in an upward position to open the handle, it is not the traditional pull to open. I thought why would anyone do this? In the best case scenario, I thought this would be useful if there’s a young toddler at home who’s pulling on handles, this would prevent the toddler from opening and dragging a microwave. But I thought that would only be ideal if the toddler wasn’t strong enough to pull the whole thing off the counter. Since my toddler doesn’t have this problem I can’t test it, but I think in theory this is a nice baby proofing feature that isn’t available in all microwaves so nice touch ! Kudos !

The size is nice, plenty of room inside, and it has plenty of power too. And the operation is easy enough. However this is the LOUDEST Microwave Oven I have ever heard. Thankfully it was emergency purchase, one we needed for a shot time, and then boxed it for use if our other microwave goes down. We had a nice Microwave/Air-Fryer combo oven that the door opening mechanism went bad. Thankfully we had a Geek Squad plan, but then had to send it out for repair/replacement, This was our choice to use while waiting for the other one to be returned. Woks OK, just a bit loud.

I have been in the market for a small microwave for a dorm room and decided to try out this model after reading other reviews. I am so glad I went with this microwave! Its the perfect size, heats up food very well and has a great preset settings. The packaging was simple , out of the box setup was pretty much remove all the tape, place the glass rotator plate within and watch the magic work. I like the internal lighting this provides for times when I want to heat something up without having to turn on all the lights. My favorite part was the handle having a latch. This by far helps ensure the door doesn't just swing open or latch wears down from constantly pulling. The handle latch was such a nice touch that I wish other microwave companies have that feature. As far as features, it may not have the latest and greatest form larger more expensive microwaves however this one gets the job down and is in a great price range. I am also impressed with the quality of the frame, door and touchpad. I feel it will last for a long time just by the usage it has gone through so far. Overall I strongly recommend this Mightly little microwave for anyone who is in need for a simple microwave , small microwave that fits in small places.

Works well for every thing I need it for easy to clean small for my counter just like I wanted

I really just wanted a no frills unit to warm coffee and make some veggies. This is more then I need and surprised me with how quiet it is. Comes with a lot of nice features which I will probably never use, but nice they are there. The rotating glass is nice and covers the entire base. Another nice feature is if you leave the item you are warming up in the unit, it'll beep again after 1 minute. I've done it. :)

We bought this microwave because my wife wanted a countertop microwave to supplement the higher, larger, over the cooktop microwave that we currently have. This microwave is large enough to accommodate our largest dinner plates, but small enough that it does not take up an excessive amount of countertop space. On examining the large brand name microwaves, this proved the right size, very good outward quality, and versatility to meet all of our needs. You can use as a main microwave or just as a supplement to a larger one. Many options, nice appearance, and it works really well. Not too small, not too big - just right. Perfect medium size microwave. Powerful. Easy to use. This fits a normal size dinner plate and taller coffee cups to reheat our forgotten coffees. Mom and kid approved:)

Perfect, exactly what I was looking for. Very easy to use. The bell signaling the time is complete is single, not annoying (like five beeps on my last microwave) and a fre minutes later, there is a reminder if you haven't opened the door yet to remove your item. The handle is also perfect and door handle easy to grab and open in one simple pull. The overall size is smaller than my last one, but this has the same size glass plate, saving space on the countertop. Heats food efficiently. Quick settings for 1 minute intervals. And less than $100. I give it 5 thumbs up!!

Microwave works great. Doesn't take up a bunch of space and has safety lock for kids. Easy to use!

I haven't bought a microwave for quite a few years, so I wasn't sure how much, if at all, things had changed. This is a pretty straightforward appliance and I got about what I expected. I really like the "trigger" on the handle, at least I do so far! Our old microwave just had a kind of "clunk" when you closed the door, so I was never quite sure if it was closed all the way or not. I never actually had any trouble with it but it always left me feeling the need to double check it. This one closes very well and the extra security of the trigger snapping it shut makes me feel a bit better. The controls are about what you would expect on any microwave with the typical buttons for quick settings, power and time and an easy 30 second start by just hitting the start button. The clock is ready to set and the buttons press easily. The popcorn time is perfect for once (our old one went way to long), and the popcorn doesn't come out smelling burned! The inside seems a little short but is deep and wide enough, I'm just used to our old one that is a bit larger capacity. I do like that this one didn't take up as much space, so the counter will have more room than we used to have. Overall, it is a nice microwave at a decent price and does the job very well.

I have been using this microwave for awhile now and i really like it. It is a big improvement over the last microwave i had. That one only lasted around a year before it began to rust out. This one is easy to use, cooks well, and has features i like. It only beeps once when cooking is done, and it's several minutes before theres a reminder beep. It is a good size, easily fits on countertop, and i like the door latch feature. Hope this one lasts a long time.

Living in an apartment I needed a microwave that did not take up too much space but still provided 1000 watts of energy. Obviously, this is bigger than say a 700 watt microwave in size, but if looking for a 1000 watt microwave, this is the one to get. It is easy to figure out how to use it. I do wish the buttons were back lit for easier reading, but do not know if any microwave offers that feature. Definitely recommend.

Very nice microwave compact features are easy to use. The quality is pretty good very happy with my microwave and I would definitely recommend this microwave to family and friends
