I have been in the market for a small microwave for a dorm room and decided to try out this model after reading other reviews. I am so glad I went with this microwave! Its the perfect size, heats up food very well and has a great preset settings. The packaging was simple , out of the box setup was pretty much remove all the tape, place the glass rotator plate within and watch the magic work. I like the internal lighting this provides for times when I want to heat something up without having to turn on all the lights. My favorite part was the handle having a latch. This by far helps ensure the door doesn't just swing open or latch wears down from constantly pulling. The handle latch was such a nice touch that I wish other microwave companies have that feature. As far as features, it may not have the latest and greatest form larger more expensive microwaves however this one gets the job down and is in a great price range. I am also impressed with the quality of the frame, door and touchpad. I feel it will last for a long time just by the usage it has gone through so far. Overall I strongly recommend this Mightly little microwave for anyone who is in need for a simple microwave , small microwave that fits in small places.

I have been using this microwave for awhile now and i really like it. It is a big improvement over the last microwave i had. That one only lasted around a year before it began to rust out. This one is easy to use, cooks well, and has features i like. It only beeps once when cooking is done, and it's several minutes before theres a reminder beep. It is a good size, easily fits on countertop, and i like the door latch feature. Hope this one lasts a long time.

I haven't bought a microwave for quite a few years, so I wasn't sure how much, if at all, things had changed. This is a pretty straightforward appliance and I got about what I expected. I really like the "trigger" on the handle, at least I do so far! Our old microwave just had a kind of "clunk" when you closed the door, so I was never quite sure if it was closed all the way or not. I never actually had any trouble with it but it always left me feeling the need to double check it. This one closes very well and the extra security of the trigger snapping it shut makes me feel a bit better. The controls are about what you would expect on any microwave with the typical buttons for quick settings, power and time and an easy 30 second start by just hitting the start button. The clock is ready to set and the buttons press easily. The popcorn time is perfect for once (our old one went way to long), and the popcorn doesn't come out smelling burned! The inside seems a little short but is deep and wide enough, I'm just used to our old one that is a bit larger capacity. I do like that this one didn't take up as much space, so the counter will have more room than we used to have. Overall, it is a nice microwave at a decent price and does the job very well.

Living in an apartment I needed a microwave that did not take up too much space but still provided 1000 watts of energy. Obviously, this is bigger than say a 700 watt microwave in size, but if looking for a 1000 watt microwave, this is the one to get. It is easy to figure out how to use it. I do wish the buttons were back lit for easier reading, but do not know if any microwave offers that feature. Definitely recommend.

--- SETUP --- The microwave comes as a one piece unit that only requires you to remove the tapes that hold certain things for safety, insert the glass rotating plate, and plug in to use. You might need two people to get the microwave safely out of the box and help you carry it onto where you want it to be, but otherwise, it is easy to install. --- FEATURES --- 9 cooking presets (popcorn, potato, pizza, frozen vegetable, beverage, dinner plate, express cook (1-6), add 30s, and defrost options.), 1.1 cu. ft. interior, 12.4 inch glass turntable, child-lock safety door handle. The black finish makes an excellent aesthetic with other black kitchen appliances. Light inside turns on when the microwave is opened, not just when in use. --- EXPECTATIONS and PERFORMANCE --- This microwave is an upgrade from my previous microwave. The turntable is bigger, allowing me to fit larger sized cookware. In it, I was able to cook microwavable mashed potatoes, which is sometimes a challenge because some microwaves will leave the mashed potatoes hot on the surface, but cold in the middle. With this Insignia model, my mashed potatoes came out warm all around. Next, I cooked some canned corn. I used the 5 minute preset and cooked it in microwavable glassware. I added butter, mayo, and salt, making the corn tasty. For our weekly movie night, I cooked two bags of popcorn. For popcorn, I always follow the instructions on the popcorn bag, not the popcorn button. Needless to say, our popcorn came out nearly fully popped and we didn’t get any burnt popcorn smell. My wife and I are big coffee brewers. We use a french press and like to warm our water in the microwave. The beverage button mode is great, as you have the option to press it up to 3 times and heat 1,2, or 3 cups of your beverage. It speeds up our morning routine. If you happen to forget what the presets do after each press, there is a nice plaque with a reminder of what you can do with the presets. That is a great feature to have and actually use the presets with your microwave. We have been using this new microwave daily since we installed it, and we quickly became accustomed to how it works, how the door opens, and the noises it makes when your food is ready. Adding thirty seconds makes it convenient when you know you need extra cooking time, and having presets that are actually easy to understand is a plus. --- APPROVAL --- Overall, this is a nice microwave that is a definite upgrade compared to my previous microwave. It is user friendly and requires little to no effort to understand its functionalities. It's great at cooking popcorn, reheating leftovers, and cooking frozen meals with even temperatures. I highly recommend this product to anyone.

This is a very big, powerful, and quiet microwave. I love the handle feature as there is no more snatching of the door which always lead to the handle being broken. The LED clock, timer lights up the kitchen at night. Only one month in so hopefully it holds up.

Excellent product, easy to use, good size... We had an Insignia for several years and it was outstanding....held up to daily use, often multiple uses during a day, and wanted to replace it with the same

We were looking for an economical microwave with good performance and we could not buy a better one than this one, honestly it is a very economical microwave but it offers excellent features and quality, in a short time the food heats up and its functions are very easy to understand, the size is suitable for any kitchen and the color is nice!

Great little microwave! It’s easy to use and powerful. The handle design with the trigger button was easy to get used to and makes opening the microwave easy. I really like that you can turn off the beep sound for the buttons and also the end beeps. It runs pretty quietly too. Very happy with this purchase so far!

This microwave is absolutely great. It reheats foods great and evenly. The thawing/defrosting works great without cooking the edges. Very easy to use and it’s a perfect size. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The microwave works fine, the light indicator for the numbers is just too bright and the sound it makes when plugging the microwave in, is too loud. Once you have cooked something it only beeps once, which I like. If you dont take your product out right away, it will beep again after a minute to remind you. I like that too.

My wife and I are really pleased with the microwave we bought. It’s working great, not too big or too small—just the perfect size. Plus, I got a two-year insurance plan in case anything goes wrong with it.

What an awesome find! In 2025, a microwave should not be expensive and complicated and this one so far has been great. I love the handle release button since it does not make the microwave slide across the counter when trying to open it. I also like the power at 1000W output! The controls are simple enough (easier than many others I would argue) and the quality feels like many other microwaves including ones 4 times the price.

So happy with the m/w. just the right size and so easy to use. love the look. I would recommend this to everyone.
