It is very good Value for money It working is good

Maybe this is something that has always happened and I never noticed it, but the exhaust coming from this microwave seems to produce a lot of heat. I've never had a microwave that I could feel the heat coming from as it's running.

I don't like the return policy of Best Buy! 14 days only vs 3 months in other stores. Also I wasn't sure of the restocking fees if it applies to this microwave. After all I returned it without even opening the box. But will give it 3 stars to be fair.

Works great and the price was great. I honestly thought it was going to be a little bit bigger.

Arrived on time. I haven't the opportunity to use the microwave yet. Great price & bargain.

Purchased November 20, 2024. Did a chat and made and appointment for repair. The microwave was put in for repair today, January 24, 2025, because of a buzzing noise upon start up. Thank goodness for the one year warranty. Hopefully it gets resolved and will last a long time. Remember when microwaves lasted for years and years? What happened to that? Bad Experience: Allison, the general manager was very rude!! At first she said there wasn't a warranty on the microwave. She was more worried about being a smart mouth, than she was about helping the customer. Very Disrespectful!!!

Good size. Loud when heating food. It does it's job, just wish it was quieter.

The microwave didn’t have all the pieces, I they it may have been a return item. Definitely should have been reduced price.

I mean it works it hums a little louder than my last and it’s smaller than I expected. However gets the job done. There is now wow factor.

Product was extremely loud. Also, the mechanism tbat turns the plate was of poor quality. The plate rubbed on the base of the microwave.

I changed my mind and took it back to get the Panasonic microwave. I didn't use it so cannot give any stars but can say it's a great price.

Purchased November 22, 2024, stopped working 6/12/2025. My old microwave lasted over 10 years so I am shocked how quickly this product died. Not sure if I got a dud but won’t be repurchasing this brand again for sure.

1st use: burning odor, tripped circuit breaker. Refund/return not allowed as I had it 15 days. Shame on Best Buy.

I bought it in store 7/18/2024 and it overheated 10/24/2024 , says time to return it expired 8/4/2024. Save you $

For me, I had an experience of electric just dying.

I am not a huge fan of this microwave. it is smaller than I am used to and it cooks too fast or too slow.

I cook and bake a good bit, and this microwave has been the key to a good deal of my success. The rotating glass tray is quite large, so it does contain spills and accommodate containers of many sizes / dimensions. A small thing, but the glass tray easily fits onto the turntable ring without fumbling to align something. A big Pro is the door handle; in order to open it, you depress the button on the inside of the handle and then pull to open. This is a huge advantage over other microwaves, where you press a button to open the door, as this usually pushes the microwave a bit towards the edge of the table it is sitting on. I like the fact that it has a kitchen timer on it, but for the time it takes to set it with multiple button presses, I can easily just ask one of my digital assistants to set the timer. Unfortunately, there are two main things that I dislike about the display and functions. The display is very bright, which I don't like at night, as it lights up most of my kitchen. The second thing is about setting the cooking time. If you press one of the Express Cook buttons 1-6, it sets that amount of minutes and begins cooking. The usual Auto Menu (popcorn, pizza, potato, etc.) is available, so the Express Cook function seems a bit redundant. I'd much prefer to set my own time from the first button depressed on the keypad, but to do that, you need to press the Time Cook button first. My 14yo and 18yo kids use the microwave to cook, and it can be a bit confusing. I'm used to just putting in the time I want, so it feels counter-intuitive. I do like the fact that during cooking, I can press the '+30 Sec' button to add 30 more seconds worth of cook time. The selection of Power levels is helpful; the '0' power level is useful, as it just runs the fan to clear the microwave chamber of smells from previously cooked items. The Weight Defrost and Time Defrost works better than I've ever seen these functions work on other units. I do prefer the Time Defrost over the Weight Defrost, but both work surprisingly well to defrost a variety of items; I tried chicken, brats, and ground beef. In all cases, the amount of overly cooked areas were minimal compared to what I expected. I did use a Pyrex bowl for defrosting, which may have helped retain some moisture in the items. I do trust Insignia microwaves due to a positive history with them. This is not a bad microwave by any stretch, but some functions seem counter-intuitive. At maximum power, this is a powerful microwave, yet has the room and flexibility for many uses.

Best buy stillnowes me a 200 dollar gift card. Can't recommend them until they send it.
