Had to replace the first because one day, it just turned on and kept running. I troubleshot and it worked fine for a couple days but did it all over again. Since a dozen folks use this, I wanted to keep the functions the same so bought the identical one for replacement. Two years later, SAME THING. It just runs without anyone even near it. Bought a new one today but not Insignia.

Bought it... didnt use it for two months, plugged it in... in less than two months we wake up to find it running with an error message 000U, turn table running all on its own unable to turn it off. No Longer returnable they say, we took too long to discover the crap it is. Manual does not provide error codes or troubleshooting - 877 number from manual went to a call center I could hear people but no one was talking to me for over 2 minutes then a guy said HI and wanted my personal information/ no acknowledgement of company answering phone or relation to Insignia/ the web site on the manual is non existent.

It only worked for 5 WEEKS before it FAILED completely. Of course it can’t be returned. AVOID INSIGNIA!

Broke down after 5 months

Upon use in June/July, realized that the quality is not as good as other microwave in $100 range. When you close the door, you can hear a 'hollow' sound (not as heavy). Then last September it suddenly stop working.

Worst Decision I ever made

Button got stuck less than 2 weeks after we got it, and won't open properly. Have to pull it while pushing in the button. Had trouble with this type of door before, but never this quickly. Never buy any Microwave with a push button door! Always go Handle
