It works fine but have not had but about 2 months and it already has a popping sound when heating something up

So this is a replacement for a Hamilton Beach that started making funny noises as though it were about to die fairly soon. This Insignia is my first appliance from this company. I’ve had loads of their TV’s & DVD players before, but no other appliances. It was very competitively priced and I had a rewards certificate to make it even cheaper so and this won in the end. Initial impressions are great. It cooks quickly and does what it’s supposed to. I’d say if it lasts a couple of years it’ll then be totally worth the price.

The microwave has some nice programming features that are useful (eg single press power selection, defrost by weight) and its cost was very low. The main criticism I have is that the plastic edges around the door are somewhat sharp. Not enough to cut you but enough to be uncomfortable to use.

Nice medium size, fits a full dinner plate and plenty of power.

I really like this appliance. Don't overload the electrical outlet, and it performed without an hitch! And it runs quiet, even during its louder moments. Can't wait to make seasonal candies in it now that I know it can hold my big Pyrex bowl! I still have some slight adjustment to make to the control buttons but am anxious to finding a use for its memory assignment function.

Perfect replacement for a similar microwave I had for many years.

So far this microwave has functioned just as needed. We bought it to replace the old microwave in our break room. It looks great. Works great. We have not received any complaints. Would recommend.

Good microwave for the money will tell people about it

It is working well thus far I like how it is heating my food from the inside out.

I have it at work, and I like that it has good wattage for the price. I was tired of the low wattage one in the lunch room not heating my food. This one does a great job.

If you're looking for an inexpensive large microwave, this is for you. Good size inside, keypad is easy to see even in dim light, and so far works as expected. The only negative is that when the cycle is done, it only beeps once and doesn't show anything on the display to indicate cooked food is inside.
