Good size inside, keypad is easy to see even in dim light, and so far works as expected. The only negative is that when the cycle is done, it only beeps once and doesn't show anything on the display to indicate cooked food is inside.

I like the fact it still lets me enter custom times and also has presets. Takes up more space than my old one but its a lot more powerful.

As soon as I took it out of the box & gave it a test run. it sounds terrible, like a dump truck getting a cold start pulling a full load. I had to admit that it heated up the cup of water in our initial test. I just can't trust an electric appliance that sounds as awful as this microwave. I will be returning ASAP. Good thing I still have my 7 yr old microwave. Back to square 1 in my search for a decent microwave. Wish I would have looked at the 1 & 2 star reviews before taking home. No more Insignias for me.
