Do Not Purchase

Today, 5/22/23 the microwave started turning on and off by itself continually until I unplugged it. Plugged it back up and now it is staying on constantly and will not turn off so it is useless. Do not recommend- a microwave should last longer than 3 years for the price.

Didn't last long (and turned on/cooked by itself)

Insignia products are usually pretty good but not this time. Also want to mention it died in a spectacular way: turned itself on and cooked BY ITSELF! That is apparently a somewhat common issue for all microwaves (but not so soon). The rep at the warranty center suggested it could be reset by unplugging it. Maybe so, but keeping a microwave that already turned on by itself once is obviously a bad idea.

Complete junk

Second time it started overheating and shutting off. Tried again and the same thing. Will be returning this item

Keypad is horrible

When it is in the clock mode to set the clock, the keypad doesn't work to even set the time!!! To heat something, I have to tap the number many times!!!!

When plugged in, it continually runs - the control buttons do not work. This is after 3 years of moderate use Pressure required to push the door shut moves the whole unit back.
