    Using this device with a laptop running Windows 10 - 64bit. Device driver installed without trouble. As far as my software is concerned, I have a serial port now. Interfaced with remote equipment perfectly. Completely satisfied.

    Required a serial port to interface to a piece of external equipment. USB to Serial adapter worked first time without problem. Not like other adapters that do not recognize some of the serial signals.

    We needed this adapter for work, and were glad to find it at Best Buy. Sometimes you just can't wait for ordered/mailed computer parts, so we are very happy to have a Best Buy very near us.

    This does what is it supposed to do. The driver is automatically loaded under Win10. It is also possible to load a unified driver for special configurations (which I did)

    With serial ports being phased out on most newer laptops, I've always been a bit leary of these adapters. This one has gained my trust. Does exactly what it's designed to do without any hesitation. Very pleased with this product.

    most of the laptops and even computers nowadays dont have Serial port anymore ,,, this cable save me the trouble , since i had to configure an old modem but my laptop doesnt have the serial port anymore !! it worked perfectly !!!

    Got the job done but the cord is short. As long as you’re right next to the port or have an extension to the device, this USB to serial adapter will do the job. It is not a null modem.

    I had an old laptop with a db9 serial port. Got a new laptop for birthday and needed a converter to use for my routers and switches. This cable was available local and cheaper than online store. Buy it, it's awesome

    I am giving this product a ten on a scale of one through ten. I went from a laptop to a tablet and instead of having to buy a whole new connector, I got this adapter for half the price from Best Buy.
