Great when on the couch and an outlet is not nearby. The braided cord feels heavy duty - the cord is bulkier, heavier and not as flexible as the standard cord but on the other hand it should last a lot longer. Can't have both I guess. The IPOD end plug is slightly bigger than the standard and just fit through my Otterbox cover. Might be an issue with other cases? Overall I am very pleased with it

Also. great for hotel use when the plug is not close to the bed and you need to have your phone near you during the night.

I also like the length of the cord to where it’s not too short. My only problem with it so far is that it can cut in & out of CarPlay, almost like it’s sensitive to movement & I don’t think it should do that after I just bought it.
