They say do not use off brand chargers on the iphone otherwise it may mess up the port. BUT I have to say this charger is made with way more durability. The cord feels thick and strong. The head is wider and seems stronger than the iphone charger. It doesn't seem flimsy like the iphone charger. In the end, I recommend!

Then went to Geek Squad who got me the right one! It worked fantastic to download all my CD music to my iTune file on my iPhone!

The best power cable to date

However I ran into an issue where my computer wouldn't recognize the device half the time. The times it did iTunes never found the device. I tried it in two hubs and directly to the PC itself with no luck and drivers and itunes were up to date. I tried another apple certified cable and it it immediately worked through a hub and itunes found it. I'll keep it for charging at work but as for data, not sure why it's not working. Not bad for the price but might suggest sticking to apple first party cable.

I refuse to purchase the OEM products as they are not made well and they fail far too quickly. This lightening cord uses Insignia quality workmanship and I know it’s durable.

I like the 10’ cord. I thought it might be too long but it is nice to have the extra length while lounging, in bed, at work, or in the bathroom. Relatively new, so hopefully it will last as expected.
