Better refresh rate for gaming (getting 164 on DP and 148 on HDMI High Speed) and you can save HDMI ports on your monitor for a laptop or something else.

Top monitor is flipped upside down to allow the thin side of the bezels to touch, and this cord reaches the top monitor perfectly with plenty of extra cable.
