Its definitely durable but a little stiff because of the material so try and extend it as much as u can.

She has two laptops with separate mouse and keyboards for each and three monitors besides the laptop ones. Peripherals for everything from MyFi to an Ethernet adapter and a speakerphone. So we have many, many cables and can't waste time with poor quality components.

Great cable to use for 1080p

You'll need an adaptor also. Laptop has mini DP, monitor has full size DP (no heat noticed at adaptor plug). Supports all the monitor refresh speeds. All is great!!!

The cable is thick. This might be an issue if you need to bend it at sharp angles, but it definitely inspires confidence. It worked fine with a QHD monitor behind a USB C KVM switch. I have not tested on higher resolution with faster refresh monitors, but I think it should work great. The connectors don't have a clip mechanism to secure attachment to monitors/PCs which might be an issue for some, but a plus for me (I often move things around and these clips can be annoying when you forgot they are there).

I needed a cable for one of my monitors. Went online to BestBuy, they had one, bought it, picked it up and I was happily using both monitors.
