Bought these and am very satisfied with them, they are a fibre instead of plastic, which I think will last longer.

At ten feet long it serves my wife well as her chair is just slightly less than that from a convenient outlet to charge her tablet.

The best power cable to date

However I ran into an issue where my computer wouldn't recognize the device half the time. The times it did iTunes never found the device. I tried it in two hubs and directly to the PC itself with no luck and drivers and itunes were up to date. I tried another apple certified cable and it it immediately worked through a hub and itunes found it. I'll keep it for charging at work but as for data, not sure why it's not working. Not bad for the price but might suggest sticking to apple first party cable.

These extra long converters have solved my problem…..and I am delighted with them!

My last one didn’t last long. The end started to Frey. I just got this so I will see how long the end lasts before it breaks. My last one didn’t even last 10 months.
