It solves problems since most computer systems need monitor and hard drive power, as well as computer power, speakers, etc. This strip is neat and clean, but the plugs are extremely close together. If your plugs have a flange at the bottom, or if they're a bit fat, (as are some 3 pronged plugs) then you may find it creates a situation where you'll need to stagger your plugs to get them to fit side by side. There are a couple LEDs on the front panel showing status. Older power strips would use neon bulbs, but the LEDs are better. The power switch is white on white, on the end of the strip, and difficult to reach. It would have been better if it were located in an easier place to use, like on top, or on an extension cable so you could turn the whole thing on or off from your desk. The power cord is hefty and yet not too stiff, good quality, nice for getting the whole thing plugged in easily. So, just note you may have trouble if your plugs are a bit fat, and they could have positioned the outlets slightly further apart and avoided the whole problem.

I was really upset because when the best buy tech was here to set up my new computer, he suggested that I purchase this, and it already is broken. I no longer have the one I was using because the tech took it with him. Can I get a new one or a refund. Very disappointed.
