Good DVD for a young person

I’m old and don’t see well, so having the control buttons and knobs black on a black background with embossed black lettering makes them very hard to see. The remote is very small and hard for arthritic hands to use too. Typical. My advice: don’t get old!

I'm having to get him another so that he can listen to the Bible or to books. He is almost completely blind and this player's volume is perfect for him

No option for USB A power supply - 110 volt ac input to 9-12v dc output only. Must use headphones with TRS jack (not TRRS or non-microphone enabled required) or sound will emanate from the unit and the headphones. Will not play CD-ROM discs.
