After four months of daily use, it stopped loading DVDs. Up until then, it worked fine. Her only complaint was that the volume was not loud enough. I expected that the useful life of this unit would have been more than 4 months.

Portable DVD player just sort of OK

The sound quality is just awful. In the end, though, I still thought it was worth having around since I have no other way to play old DVDs.
