Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my infant son because we have an hour + drive to visit family once a week so 2 hours min spent in the car and he needed something to occupy him. This is perfect for an infant since it was so CHEAP. But by the time he is a toddler he will start to complain about how CHEAP this was made. The volume goes up to 20 and on 20 I cannot hear this in my front seat with him directly behind me. You have to turn the volume to 15 before you can hear the DVD’s sound over the DVD actually spinning in the player. It spins so loudly inside the player, it’s unbelievable. My husband thought I dropped it and I had to convince him otherwise! Again, I only spent $50 on this and it’s for an infant to use in the car. If it were for anything else I’d throw a fit and return this. Oh the screen quality is pretty good. I’ve never had another portable DVD player before so I have nothing to compare it to. I mean it’s nothing like my actual TV at home, so comparing this to a real tv it’s horrible. But for a little $50 portable thing it’s pretty good! I gave it 2 starts just because of the loud sound of the DVD spinning inside of the player and the lack of volume. I thought the volume was okay when inside my quiet house but once I got in my vehicle (2017 Ford Escape) I couldn’t hear it at all. If I could upload a video so you could hear the dvd spinning inside the player I would. But this won’t let me.
