Shredding work horse

I had three years worth of bills/paperwork to shred and got it done fairly quickly. I love the handle which makes it so much easier to lift up to push down the paper and keep going.

It was a good shredder but I had used it for years, and just worn it out. I went looking for a new one. I have limited space. So the shredder had to meet a certain size. I wanted one that was a cross shredder and that held a lot of shredded material. Oh, and it had to be less that $100. I went to several stores and found nothing that met my criteria. Mush of the shredders that I saw didn't seem to have the quality that I expected. Then, I got to Best Buy. I asked where the shredders were located and a helpful man showed me the exact spot. I noticed that they only had one brand of shredder in the store - Insignia. I knew that this was Best Buy's brand but had never bought any Insignia before. However, I looked at the specs, and it was the perfect match for my needs. I asked the price - $79, and I said, "Consider it sold". Once installed in my office, I was impressed by the quality, the quietness, and the efficiency of the machine. I am very impressed with this shredder and look forward to many years of shredding!
