Cuts through credit cards and CDs perfectly. Might get a few over 10 sheets through it at a time. After about 30 minutes it did over heat. Not the machines fault I had five years worth of shredded to accomplish. Once machine cooled off (20-25 mins) was back in business.

Compared online to amazon but preferred to see what I was purchasing. Would have preferred a separate bucket for shredded paper instead of having to unplug and remove top.

Great document shredder with useful features

Price was right so I upgraded from an old strip shredder that you just placed over a small waste basket. I much prefer this with it's own wastebasket and the crosscut feature and credit card and CD shredder is nice to have, although not many people use CDs anymore. Handles what I need shredded with the extra reassurance my shredded documents are safe with the crosscut feature. I like that it has a reverse feature after shedding is complete to clean the shredder of any stuck material and that it has an auto on feature.
