It makes it a little difficult to feed continously

I had purchased an Insignia shredder several years ago and thought I was purchasing the same item. However, this one is much smaller. It still performs the same way, so I am happy.

I examined the various 'cross-cuts' under a 'borrowed' electron microscope Observed no 'needing'. Just perfect straight cross cuts. I would recommend this shredder to anyone expecting amazing performance and reliability from a machine that has quite simply...changed my life.
