I've owned this for two months now and haven't had any issues. The paper is cut into tiny rectangle which is great for privacy purposes as it would take years for anyone to put back together. There's plenty of space in the bucket so you don't have to keep emptying out every week (also depends on how much you shred). Overall, great product.

This unit is quieter than the older unit, but it seems the sensitivity of the auto activate component is a less robust than any of my prior shredders. Otherwise, it does a pretty good job at shredding.

Our old shredder finally burned out and quit working. This updated shredded is very quiet and once started, runs automatically for a few minutes without stopping between sheets of paper. We are very satisfied with its features.

It will even chop up a credit card with no problem!!! This makes it easy to make sure my personal documents are not usable for hackers!
