I was a little leery of the diminutive stature but it does attack what I need to shred. I have done credit cards but I have yet to shred a CD so I cannot speak to the effectiveness of that feature.

This one has a larger container which I like. I so miss having the handle as It is heavy to take off to empty. Buttons seem a bit flimsy but I would buy it again.
