I think This shredder is a good purchase. I’ve only used it a few times so far. My last one was considerably larger. I tried to get a bigger one but the price was a lot more. I’ll try this one. Hope it works out ok.

My neighbor was having to rip up papers & bills that he didnt need in the trash. Afraid that someone may take the ripped up pieces, he figured that a shredder maybe better to get rid of his old papers, so I got him a shredder

This is practical shredder for casual use - it is NOT a workhorse. If you do a lot of shredding, you want something that can handle more than a few sheets at a time. The reason for the 4 star rating is it is noisy - and the auto-shred feature grinds away much longer than it needs to.

Pretty good shredder. The only reason for not getting a 5 star is because the paper sensor is a little finicky. The paper doesn't always get recognized. Other than that, good shredder.

I needed a new shredder but not willing to pay $100 or more for a big one. This one has good specs and good reviews. It works okay, but I was actually expecting it to be bigger. The compact size is great but the bin fills quickly. Also the shredding is a little slower than i expected it to be.

Does a good job of shredding paper, the waste basket-style paper basket prevents paper from falling all over the floor. slightly smaller than expected but big enough to take care of a home office shredding.

Bought item on previous occasion and lasted reasonable time to buy again due to excellent price.

Unit struggled to shred 10 pages as advertised. The most it would work with was about 6 pages at a time. It did shred to extremely small pieces but slower than expected.
