Nice and compact, but performance issues

Additionally, after it runs for a bit, a lot of shredded material builds up under the paper slot/above the blades and causes it to stop shredding. The wadded bits need to be pried out to free it up again

I had the bin half full with my first use when the shredder refused to go forward or work on automated. It would only do reverse and power off. There was no indication of overheating or an error. It just quit. I returned it immediately to the store and grabbed the same model as a replacement. The same thing happened with the second shredder. I got about halfway full when the shredder refused to move forward, reverse or automated. It would only power off. No indications were given of any error codes or overheating. I definitely never even came close to the 10 sheet capacity. I'm not a speed shredder either. So I can't explain it but I have no faith in this model.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this to anyone! I just used it last night and today. It over heats WAY TO FAST, it overworks itself for no reason. You will be shredding and all of the sudden the motor over works itself and you can’t put any papers in or anything. I will be returning it ASAP.

Annoying design to take the top off and get shredded paper everywhere instead of a removeable bin. Spend $20 or $30 more dollars on a proper piece of equipment and avoid the hassle of having to return this junk.
