Went to use again and it stopped working. I worked and googled web site to see what went wrong. Tried everything i could to fix it but no luck.

It shreds but it is messy and tedious

It's noisy. The worse part, though, is the white powder that the shredder emits while chewing up the paper. If you do buy this shredder do it outside in your driveway... don't even do it in your garage. What a mess. A fine powder was everywhere on all our furniture and floors.

Strong burning smell.

My old 6 sheet one of the same brand never smelled like it was burning. I gave this one a half hour rest and it immediately smells like it's burning if you just put a few pieces of paper through it. It also bogs down if you put more than 2 sheets of paper in it. Look for another brand, don't buy this one. It's not worth the extra money for extra capacity if it can't even handle a few pages. Also, it takes forever to start working when you put paper in it. Usually shredders start immediately.

Hardly used it and it just stopped working one day. You can hear the motor running but it won't shred. The blades don't spin. My previous shredder lasted me for many years! What a waste of money. I wouldn't recommend at all.
