this only shreds 6 pages at one time and when shredding a lot of documents it overheats easily. The storage compartment is small; i have to dump a few times a week (but i shred everything). Other than that it works great and is easy to use! But recommend getting the 10-page bigger shredder. i’m just gonna run this one till it burns up on me.

Very handy shredder, very capable and a solidly home office addition. This paper shredder has a 5 page shredding capacity and also has a slot to shred credit cards. On my first day with this shredder I shredded a good amount of paper that had been building up (I’m old fashioned and don’t like throwing out things that have info on them) and it never over heated and it has a window so you can see when it’s full and time to empty it.

This shredder seems to be a good little worker and up to the task of shredding bills and documents. It seems ideal for a small home office.

I just needed a small paper shredder for documents. This works great and like the fact that it shreds in 2 different directions. Added bonus of shredding credit cards too.

I purchased this shredder for shredding daily junk mails and sensitive documents. So far it’s working great without any issues. This is really value for money.

I bought this because I had a whole box of spam snail mail that I had wanted to shred for the past year. And it worked exactly as intended. The only issue I had was the shredder stopping because of overheating, which I fully understand can happen. I just wished there was a light telling you when its safe to use the shredder again. I would work it straight for maybe 2 hours, then having it rest for the same amount of time.

For this price level, this shredder does a good job. My shredding job is starting with ton of stuff to get rid of.....so with pretty continuous shredding it will overheat sometimes (and takes a while to cool off). Once I'm just shredding occasionally it will do just fine. Always get a cross-cut machine if you are dealing with anything sensitive.

I wanted a multi-page shredder without paying too much. I was surprised at the speed and quality of unit. I got it a Deal of the Day and I am impressed ! I was not expecting much to begin with. Ilike the handle on top so I can dump the bucket. My other unit had a slide bucket which snapped together. Needless to say it broke and it is cheaper to buy a new one than replace a bucket. There is some weight to the top since that is the heart of it all but it should last me a long time.

it is very good, it does what it is supposed to. it cuts paper and credit cards. it doesn't overheat or get jammed and I have used it a lot.

I think this is a great shredder for the price. Medium sized that can be placed in a small area on the floor or on top of something. I like the self contained bin and the window to see how full the bin is. I use mainly for receipts and mail like credit card offers or statements. It's been fine when I put 6 regular sheets of paper. If the paper is thicker, then of course I put in less sheets. I've also shredded bank/credit cards and spread the cut up pieces into different trash cans just for added peace of mind. I also bought this for a family member. I've had mine for 2 years and I would buy again if something happens to it.

This shredder is durable and strong. I've had it for a while now and it still works. It shreds fast. It doesn't overheat very much compared my old one.

I purchased this shredder 10 months ago and have used it at least once every week. So far it’s still going strong and hasn’t broken down yet. The downside to this shredder is that you have to be really careful not to jam it with thick newsletters or too many papers at once. The storage is decent but could be bigger. Overall, it’s a very good budget shredder.

I have several years of medical files, credit card statements, and old tax returns to destroy. This shredder works fine. You need to be careful not to put too many sheets of paper in at the same time (6 or less works well) and don't use it for long periods of time. It will over heat and you will need to wait for it to cool down. But, for the money it gets the job done. I am happy with it.

You can't beat the price for this product. It shreds up to 7 sheets of paper at a time with ease, shreds credit cards with ease, and empties with ease.

Good value for the money. Compact size easily fits under the desk. Easy to empty basket. Highly recommended.

Does the job as advertised. Shreds credit cards and CD or DVD one at a time and as many as 10 sheets of paper to pretty much confetti. Just a added note on another reviewer who said it was noisy. I'm pretty certain any and all shredders are a bit noisy and this one is no different but it certainly is not enough to wake the neighbors trust me.

This shredder works better than the one I had before. It can shred 6 sheets at a time. It also shreds credit cards. Great value at a low price.

I’ve had this shredder for a few months now and it works great. I use it at least once daily and have had no problems. Nice size, great price.

This product does what it needs to do and thats shred without effort. Just as long as you follow the product guidelines, the shredder is perfect for small office setup or for household conventional use. It would be awsome if the top were latched to the basket which would make it easier toting it from one spot to another.
