It shreds up paper so well that I can't even recognize what it was, and that's a GOOD thing. It's quick, has an easy on/off switch, and will automatically shut off if the shredder is not securely attached to the container, which is a great safety feature. Nice tool for a secret agent to make documents "disappear"

Picked this shredder up to eliminate a few years worth of bills/documents that were no longer needed. Got home from BB, plugged it in, and shredded paper and some credit cards for 6 hours straight. We did this two days in a row, filling multiple trash bags with shred thinking I would definitely break it, but thankfully it’s continuing to work great! And just as hard. Would buy again

This is a decent device. However, if you overwork the shredder it will overheat. It has a tendency to jam every now and again when shredding thicker sheets of paper. A good device if you shred occasionally. But if you have lot of items to shred or shred quite often then you might want to try a different device.

This small but efficient shredder is great for home use as needed . I use it for shredding old credit cards, paper bank statements and the like . It does not take up a lot of space and it uses the micro shredding which is the most effective . It can be good for office use as well if you have small jobs .i recommend it

I am very happy with this purchase. I was able to get this Insignia shredder when it was on sale for $39.99, and then used a $5 reward certificate on top of that. This was a great deal since the shredder works well. I haven't tried 10 pages at a time yet, usually between 3-6. I love that I can shred expired credit cards without it jamming. The only "con" is that the shreds collect at the blades sometimes and then I have to clean them out. Other than that, I have no complaints with this shredder.

When the old shredder gave out after 15 years of use, I went to Best Buy for a replacement and found a great one for a reasonable price. It has all the features I wanted, credit card shredding included, and came with a nicer looking container to boot. Its compact size fits under my table perfectly and can see when it starts getting full. Great upgrade from before.

Our old shredder just wasn't doing the job any longer. We purchased the Insignia 10 Sheet Cross Cut Shredder as we were getting rid of years of various records. It works great, no longer having to feed 1 sheet at a time to avoid jams, and does an excellent job of cutting expired credit cards.. Our is a medium size, large enough to sit on the floor and not too large to put on a small table. The bin has a see through pane to show when it is nearing capacity. A real gem for the household office.

I've only been using it for a few weeks, but so far no problems. A reasonably priced, no extra bells and whistles, basic shredder. A bit small, so not recommended for a multiuser office. I like the viewing window so you can see if it needs emptied.

This Shredder is good. It is a budget friendly shredder that fits my needs of shredding my junk mail. I would hesitate to actually put 10 sheets at a time, especially if you are shredding alot of stuff because it will cause the unit to overheat which makes it shut off for 15 or so minutes. I would buy again if I needed too .

Great shedder for your everyday average at home paperwork. It does overheat fairly quick, so you have to turn it on and off if you have a large load to shred. It shreds through 7-8 sheets or credit cards with no problem. Good for at home, but would need something stronger for an office.

Well, it is a shredder, so far it has worked as advertised with no issues. It shreds multiple pages with ease, and I have not experienced any issues with the paper clogging up. It is relatively quiet, and for a large shredder, it is easy to tuck away when not in use.

Tough, light weight and easy to use. Appreciate the 6 sheet crosscut.

While this item is smaller in size than expected (and smaller than my prior shredder) so far it is working just fine and meeting my needs. The price was great also. Probably not suitable for anyone conducting business from a home office, but definitely fine for personal paperwork management.

This little thing has endured a lot of use. Since I got this, I never had a problem. Just like any other cheap shredder, dont shove your entire photo album or it will overheat. Do it little by little, like max 4 paper at a time. The thicker the load, the faster it will overheat. Also, i put a bag in the bin so when it's full, cleanup is easy.

This is a great shredder for the price. Shreds files quickly and easily into small pieces. Just plug n go.

This is a pretty good shredder. It gets the job done. A bit on the noisy side but I have no problem with it. Cuts the papers I want and I like to give it a break every now and then. Would recommend for anyone looking for one. Simple to use and easy to clean the bin underneath as the shredder is removable from the bin.

I like this in a lot of ways. The six sheet max is enough for my household needs, but I love that the moter is strong enough to work it's way through staples- which is hard to find at the price. It's small, quiet and practical, just what I was looking for.
