This is a good shredder based on its low price point. You must hand feed, and if you're shredding a large amount of paper you will need to stop fairly frequently to let the machine cool down. That said, it does the job. If your shredding needs are not huge, this would be a good choice for you.

Works OK for One or two sheets of paper. Motor sounds like it is straining. Have not tried the advertised 6 sheets at one time but doubt that would work without damaging the motor. For light duty use it is compact and low cost.

Product works well. I've had it for almost a year now. For the price I paid, it does the job. I've had it overheat a few times and shut off, but that was due to shredding a couple hundred sheets over an hour period. You wait a bit for it to cool off and you're back in business. For the avg person this is perfect, don't buy if you frequently shred really high volume.

I purchased my shredder to get Rid of old mail with my name and address on it. It overheats quickly and takes a while to cool back off but it works so not complaining too much. Shredders are much more expensive than I remember.

Does a decent job of shredding. If you intend to run it for a while, it does overheat which means it will stop working until you let it cool down for a while. This happens to me with 15 minutes of consecutive shredding.

This shredder does a very good job of doing what it is designed to do. Paper? 10-15 sheets, no problem. Credit/Debit cards? Easy-peasy. The only issue I have with this unit is that it is quite loud when operating. I suppose that is because of the heavy-duty motor and cutting heads, but...that's the trade-off.

I miss the big "Fellowes" brand I had from Costco. This one is slower, doesn't take that many pages at a time, and has a fairly high pitched grind. But it's doing the job, and a good size for a small space. Bigger sometimes means cumbersome.

If you are looking for an all-purpose shredder without breaking the bank, this one is a great option. You can shred up to six pages at once, credit or debit cards, and even some thicker paper stocks. only downside is the small basket that it comes with. You will have to empty often if you use it regularly. Great value and quite the workhorse for any small office.

This was for our own personal office. We had several years of financials that needed to be disposed, It got a heavy workout at the beginning and with only a few minor moments of overheating, it performed well.

It does the job. It will bog down with 3 or more sheets of paper. After running continuously for around 10 minutes, it will quit working and the overheat light will come on. It takes around 20 minutes to cool down and start up again. But, it was cheap.

Very good value and heavy duty! It even has a slot to shred plastic credit cards!

This is easy to use, quick, and efficient. Only issue is that it gets clogged if you put in more than 5 papers, or folded a paper three times. I bought it for individual use so it doesn’t bother me as much. It is small so didn’t take up too much space.overall a good investment if you want to get rid of documents which contains personal information

This is a very convenient compact shredder. It has a window so one can easily see how full it is and empty it before it gets so full emptying causes a mess. Also, instead of a drawer, one lifts off the top and can easily empty it without any mess at all. Highly recommend!!

We love it.The shredder dose a great job. It is easy to use and to empty. We are cleaning out old office fills when we moved back to Texas fourteen years ago and we are moving again because of retirement so we are down sizing so it does awesome job if you are looking to get a shredder I would get this one it is the best one we have had in alone time.

I needed a small shredder and this does what I need. I use it for old cards and shredding important documents at home, nothing big. Downside is it does overheat and stops you from shredding if it’s a big enough pile of paper.

I HAD BOUGHT THE CHEAPER INSIGNIA MODEL A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO, AND IT WOULD ONLY WORK FOR 2 MINUTES AT A TIME, OFTEN OVERHEATED, CLOGGED UP AND THEN IT DIED ALTOGETHER! THIS ONE KEPT ON UNTIL A GOOD STACK OF DOCUMENTS HAD BEEN REDUCED TO SHREDS, WHEW! WHAT A RELIEF. IT IS A RECENT PURCHASE, SO I CAN'T SPEAK FOR LONGEVITY, BUT I AM HOPEFUL.

It does shred paper and cards well but I have encountered a jam or two. And it overheats. The wait time for cooling is a bit long. That's a con.

Moving the curse word no one wants to say. Thats when you find out over the years of living in that home you kept way too much stuff and you wonder why do I need this bill from Macy's dated January 2015.... So you go out and buy a shredder because we all know THEY go through your garbage to steal your identity. So off to Best Buy I went. Low and behold this was the only on in stock so being it was my best choice I bought it. To my surprise it is really good. Yes the page count is 10 it will handle 11 pages but it will tell you it was not happy about it. Needless to say in a few hours I shredded everything. I didn't care if the paper was blank or not. If the card was expired or not. I wasn't going to pack so off to the shredder it went. This little stood up and out lasted me. You will be very pleased with your purchase. Cons: Yes there is always cons... When emptying the unit the top is rather heavy and well it holds a lot of shreds in its jaws so it does become quite messy. Nothing a quick sweep can't handle but after the 100th dump it does get tiring and well pretty deep too.

This shredder is perfect for a small space. It's also quiet and shreds easily. The only issue I have is that it is recommended not to use a plastic bag to catch the shredded debris, but other than that, it works just fine for anyone who is an occasional shredder and does not need a large capacity shredder.

Works good for a here and there type of use, definitely not for mass shredding as i attempted to clean out my bill drawerer it would over heat so i had to do a little at a time with breaks .
