It’s a small shredder that can theoretically handle 10 sheets which in application means 7-8 sheets comfortably. I went through roughly 600 letters, amounting to maybe 1000 pages and there were no issues. I only had to reverse it about 4 times but it ran perfectly, did not stutter or overheat.

It says multiple papers at once but gets stuck constantly and I can hear the motor after 3 sets of heavy duty paperwork it sounds as if the motor is about to burn out on me ... it starts to run slower so i give it a break then it starts working fast again but after three times of grinding a small stack of papers it starts forcing itself again i bought it with the purpose it says multiple papers at once even cards but i guess this is if not used daily for office use or lots of personal mail this is to use approx. twice/three times a week because it sounds like the motor over works itself and even gives off a burning smell after three small stacks of paper uses one after another. Hopefully this isn’t the case for everyone because it does grind paper great and cards as well.

This cross-cut shredder is good for personal use, which is why I purchased it. Its blade set up makes for some long cross-cuts as compared to other units I've used in the past, but is much better than a simple strip-cuting shredder for security. It's advertised as being able to handle 6 pages at a time, but in practice 2 or 3 is the max before it jams or overheats (and you simply need to wait a few minutes for it to cool down -- a common problem with small shredders). Overall, if it's for personal use, shredding infrequently, you'll find it suitable. This is not a shredder for heavy use or the office.

This is my second shredder from this company. The shredded pieces are almost powdered, making them impossible to reconstruct. The machine rarely jams--and that is usually my fault for overloading he feeder. I like the backup feature, too.

It is good enough for my home office. It looks more heavy duty than my previous one (which just stopped working after 4yrs of light duty. I wish shredders operates more quietly.

I had previously purchased a shredder that finally died, and this was my replacement. Though it cost more than twice what I paid for the first one, it's worth what I paid. It works faster and smoother and jams far less than the old one did, and it shreds the paper into smaller bits, too. Have only used it a few times thus far, but am happy with the purchase.

For the price, this paper shredder works well. It does the job it is supposed to do. It can only handle small loads but that’s what it design capability is.

The shredder is good for basic household shredding. For business it may not be suitable. You have to guide the paper through if you are putting a stack of sheets to be shredded. But overall, a good shredder for the price.

One of the shredder I had broke and I bought this as a replacement. It is pretty light weight compared to the earlier one I had. But it is easy to use and I have shredded plastic cards and paper with no jams. Happy with the purchase.

I've owned this for almost a year and so far it's been great! It shreds 6 sheets of paper with ease and I shredded an old credit card too! Holds a lot of shreds of paper. I have no complaints. It is a big loud, but that is to be expected with a shredder.

I only used this twice since I bought it. It works as expected. I only used it for papers so far, no credit/debit card yet, so I don't know if it works well if credit/debit card. It's easy to use.

Found this on sale and replacing an existing one in the house. Definitely does the job very well shredding documents diagonally rather than just straight up/down (strips). Does well to shred both credit cards and CDs (if you still have them). The handle on the shredder makes it easy to pick up off the basket.

It's not a great shredder by any means. It overheats a lot regardless of usage and gets jammed almost as much. Sigh. But it's worth what you pay for.

The shredder does an excellent job shredding paper documents. Mine will shred 6 sheets of paper at once, it shreds through plastic cards and old credit cards like a hot knife through butter. It is extremely reliable over the last year and has required no maintenance other than cleaning out the paper bin when it is full, which is very easy. It is light and compact and fits nicely in even the smallest of offices. Best of all it is much cheaper (cost wise not quality wise) than any of the competitors. I have always been a huge fan of best bus insignia brand and their 6 sheet cross cut paper shredder is no exception , highly recommended.

Fast, powerful, easy-to-use and well worth your money

I bought the Insignia™ - 6-Sheet Crosscut Shredder while on sale and I must say that it has been great in my home office. It's compact and fits in the most discrete of areas. The fact that it is able to destroy credit cards is great. No more cutting them up with scissors. This cross shredder has made my life so much easier!

So far no issues. Have had the redlight come on for overheating but thats been after 5-10 minutes of continual shredding. For the proce its great for a home office or around the house shredding. My use is to clean out important papers that have massed up over the past decade and to keep current junk mail in check.
