I read quite a few reviews on different shredders and decided on this one, I made a great choice. Works great, I fed quite a bit of paper and it did get over heated but it let me know and I just turned it off and let it rest for a bit and started up again and it worked great.

This shredder is good and shreds fast like a professional grade but it over heats quickly... I would recommend a larger one for heavier shredding..

Value is good, don't try to overload it with too many papers. Great for day to day light shredding, not built for an office or heavy shredding.

For basic in home shredding. If you are trying to do heavy shredding then look somewhere els. But for me it works great, simple, good size and shreds quickly. Max is 6 pages and has basic On/Off switch and auto.

This shredder turns the paper into confetti, so it takes a lot less space than shredders that put out long strips. This shredder accepts six sheets of paper, and you can take off the top off the shredder with one hand, when you need to empty the shredder.

This shredder has really been a really good purchase. First the price was so surprising. The thing I like the most about this shredder is the performance for home use. I've officially retired my black sharpie and scissors. The price and performance are very fair.

Haven’t had a problem with my Insignia shredder since I’ve owned it. I’ve worked it pretty hard and have put thousands of pages through it without any frustration. Just feed it paper and it chews them up. You can’t beat it for the price.

love this shredder. Its shreds a great deal of paper and doesn't overheat quickly like my previous schredder. I would recommend this to anyone working from home who often needs to shred docs. Works perfectly for me.

Nice shredder for the price. It’s been great for my use. Does the job. No complaints. For my not so heavy usage, this is sufficient compared to expensive ones.

As long as you don't overstuff this machine you are fine. It has an automatic shutoff when it overheats and cools off in about 10 minutes. Small enough to tuck into place. Cute little window shows you how full it is.

This cross cut shredder was easy to use right out of the box. I had no trouble getting it up and running. Wonderful for small jobs, but remember to empty the container frequently. I am happy with this purchase.

It fits a small space that had not been used. A little loud and not as fast as I had been used to but it is self contained. Top part with motor is heavier that I had expected. It fits my needs.

I think this shredder is going to be a durable and hard working shredder. I have already done credit cards and business papers. I feel comfortable with it and think it will last me for years. I give it 5 stars.

I am really satisfied with this shredder. For the amount of personal shredding I require, it serves my needs. It works fine and shreds up to 6 pages at a time. The one draw back is the shredding of old credit cards. Some of my cards are made with a thin piece of metal as well as the chip which consists of a piece of metal. these, I was not able to shred. the card got stuck in the blades. Happily, I was able to press the reverse button and extract the card from the blades. It works well with plastic cards!

This is perfect for an average user. Does exactly as intended without any issues. And about half the cost of it's competitors! I've shredded multiple documents and zero jams. As with any other shredder, make sure to lubricate it so it prolongs it's life.

This is ok for light duty but I think 6 sheets max is really pushing this shredder. I have another 6-sheet shredder and it does a better job. This shredder sounds and feels less powerful than my other 6-sheet shredder. Pros? It shreds crosscut nicely and has a great sleek design with nice window. It says like 3 minute run time and 30 minute cooling. I have never waited 30 minutes to cool before so that is a pro. Cons? It gets clogged more often than my other 6-sheet shredder. I usually stick with 2-5 sheets at a time too but I still have to take needle nose pliers at times to pull out jammed pieces in the blades. Also it overheats more often than my other 6-sheet shredder but this happens when you are trying to do 2 or more basket fulls at a time. Here is a tip.... It will fill the basket up once without overheating. Once you fill it up, empty your basket and turn it off for a little a while before shredding again. If you cool it down after 1 basket full, it won't overheat. If I have lots of important documents to shred, I have 2 shredders side by side with each other and I switch back and forth with the shredding jobs between the two so it keeps them from overheating.

Easy to use, compact, a little noisy but not that bad, works great, excellent product for the price..

not much to say but it does the job. this is for someone that would like to shred some mail. I only do like 3 papers at a time but I've done 6. it doesn't sound so good but it does the job. lol

I bought this shredder because I went cheap and got one that couldn't shred more than a couple of pieces of paper at a time. This one can handle much more and doesn't jam. I highly recommend this product for a home office or personal use.

I jammed my previous shredder which was nearly twice the size of this one. However, I've found this little power house adequately handles my paper shredding needs. Also, it was half the price of the one I used before buying this one. Great value!
