It’s a really nice shredder for a decent price. It’s really good for home use. It does over heats after lot of paper are shredded at once but it’s way better then other shredders in same price range

This is the best shredder I've ever owned! It holds a large amount of shreddings. The shredder/motor piece is very heavy and durable. I was a little nervous about getting a cross cut, as I always had a straight cut style. I have no regrets!

The 6 sheet cross cut letter has worked perfect for me, making sure that all of my documents are properly shredded and its compact size allows it to hit in any small area.

I am very happy with shredder. It is very quiet and easy to operate. It does not jam the paper as much as my old shredder did. The purchase price was very affordable. I highly recommend it.

This product works well for daily use. It heats up if you use it for too long/too many times. You will have to wait til it cools down before using it again.

I have been using this product for almost six months now and am amazed at its capability, durability, and ease of use. It shreds staples with ease and even destroys credit cards too! I love the reverse function however have no had to use it yet because have had absolutely no problems with paper jams. It is definitely worth the price for have owned cheaper shredders that do not last You definitely get what you paid for and more with this one! I highly recommend it!

From purchase to use this shredder is easy to setup and use. So far it has been able to shred anything that I have fed through it.

My old shredder died after 10 years of use and I saw that this was a buy of the day at Best Buy. The price was very reasonable and it does the job well. I hope it will also last at least 10 year like my previous shredder!

Great product for it's prize. Bought the item to shred letters from banks that offer credit cards. Did not have a problem shedding credit cards and thick papers. Will recommend this item for use at home or a small office.

Very pleased with the performance of this shredder. It is rated as a 10 page shredder and has no trouble shredding that many. It is fast and easy to use. No problems with jams and empties easily. It is a great shredder for home use.

Does not get jammed or overheated as frequently as our previous shredder, which was also an Insignia just a different model. Works great for our in home office.

It takes like 2 minutes without stopping to get overheated. Other than that it’s functional and it doesn’t too much space.

East to use, very good operation. One drawback is if it fills before you empty it seems to accumulate a lot of the pieces in gears. Keep it clean and it works good.

I waited to write a review because of past experience with crosscut shredders; this shredder gets heavy use and works the same as the first day. Excellent. This is a well-built product.

I bought this Insignia shredder for my mother in law as a replacement for one she had used for about 10 years. She shreds everything and gives it good workout daily. if it can stand up to her use it is one tough cookie. it seems to work very well and is easy to empty.

This shredder is of a very good quality, I like the zigzag cut and very small pieces making it impossible for someone to still your information. And that makes me feel confident about my personal information. I also like that shreds credit cards. Love the product.

When I purchased this shredder in the store, it was the only one available at the time. Since Christmas was looming and my husband's main gift was delayed until after Christmas, I figured a few small items he'd been wanting would suffice for being under the tree. He was actually pretty excited about the shredder, used it that very day and all was well. And continued to be well, until I had a real use for it. I didn't overload it, I followed all the instructions in the manual and despite only feeding it one sheet of paper (standard paper, no less) at a time, it kept jamming. After only 3 or 4 sheets, I'd have to turn it off and clear away the shredder area. The paper also stopped cutting two ways, only doing long strips. The needlenose pliers became my friend because it was the only way to find all the little jammed pieces. I am beyond the allotted days to return this (of course) and have already purchased a better shredder. If you only need it to work for the first 20 days, this is the machine for you! If you'd like it to be useful for longer periods of time, I'd suggest you find a new one.
