Great for small jobs. Use it to shred all my junk mail. Can’t go wrong for the price. It will overheat when trying to shred too much at once or if operating for too long . Perfect small machine for my needs.Does not cross shred.

I was a bit reluctant about this shredder but decided to purchase and give it a try. It shreds several sheets quickly and I've also placed expired credit cards in it without a problem. I use it several times a week to shred unwanted mail and other items with identification. Worth the price and would buy again if needed to.

Needed to replace my previous shredder since it gave out. This Insignia is easy to use and does a good job of shredding documents & credit card type items. Easy to use and not set up required. The price was very right (on sale) and quality is good.

I like it. It's a little noisy but it shreds like it is supposed to. It works better than a previous model I had. I like that it can cut up one credit card at a time. That is a bonus. I am happy with this purchase.

Small, compact. Easy to use. Slow going as the shred-head can only take in 6 sheets of paper, maximum. It is a bit noisy. Does not use bags so dumping the shreds so as not to make a mess requires a large trash bag.

I looked around for a decently priced cross shredder and this one won out. It's working just fine for me and shreds pretty quickly. No issues with sticking. I'm not doing large volume of shredding so no over heating issues. My only gripe is that it's kinda loud. But then again, I guess when you're cross shredding something it's not going to be quiet.

This is a great Shredder for the price, I have used the slot for shredding credit cards an it works great, it will also shred a computer disk but I have not done that yet. I noticed it is not as noisy as some others I have had in the past. It handles up to eight sheets with a slot in the holding bin to see when it’s getting full.

Recently purchased the Insignia 10-Sheet Crosscut Shredder and I couldn't be happier! It shreds without lagging, shredding the 10 sheets as stated without any issues! It also shreds credit cards easily. I like the fact that it does the crosscut shred for added security. Also the fact that it's a great price is an added bonus!

Heavy duty shredder for its size. Hasn't jammed or overheated.

Very pleased with shredder, Light weight-easy to move. Nothing to assemble. Shredds many papers. Eay to clean. Price was very good. Size is perfect!

We bought an Insignia shredder to replace a shredder of another brand which had broken. Our new shredder performs well and we appreciate that it was designed to alert the use when the level of shredded paper requires that it be emptied. With the old shredder, getting jammed may have caaused it to break. Shreddiing two ways is more effective too. The reasonable price was appreciated.

I work in a small business with tons of confidential papers and personal information that need to be shredded on a daily basis. I have shredded 7/8 pages at a time and it shreds to pieces. It has a small discreet look and is easy to store under the desk.

I've only had this shredder a short time, but have had no problems with it. It shreds around ten sheets at a time and also shreds credit cards. The noise is not extremely loud for a shredder.

I like the compact design. It's a little noisy but it does a very good job of shredding important documents. I like the feature of shredding credit cards as well.

I purchased this shredder for my son to shred unwanted mail and labels. For the price it does a decent job. It says 6 sheets and you can put in about 5 comfortable. It's loud and slow, bur it gets the job done

It shreds up to 10 sheets of paper @ a time & also shreds credit cards. It is very fast & easy to use. As I said above the price was great, lowest for any other I compared it to.

Nice little machine on sale great price does the job does what it’s set up for personal in-house I wouldn’t recommend it for the office probably wouldn’t take the abuse…… recommend

I had years of documents to destroy and was looking around for a decent shredder. Normally I would have used my hands to do this, but I'm talking encyclopedia level amounts of documents after having moved overseas and back, as well as work related documents. Too much to do by hand. This little beauty has saved me from a hospital trip for the medication required to keep me from crying myself to sleep at night. It burned through the paperwork around 5-6 pages at a time. I needed to give it a break after doing this 10 times or so due to the machine heating up, but it lets you know. After a minute or so, it's back to shredding again. All in all, after several thousand documents and filling up our recycling bin with shredded paper, I've completed my task and I feel the shredder paid for itself, if anything just for my sanity.

It works great easily went through 6 sheets with staples I force feed it for like 5 mins straight before it overheated which is no big deal of course its a tad loud but what you people expect it's a paper shredder duh. Overall works great does the job it needs to do.
