I have been using this shredder for 4 months now and it still shreads amazing . Still very sharp , paper dosent get jammed , and theprice was great .

This is a nice sized shredder to fit in the corner. It doesn't take up too much space. It is nice because it does do the crosscut so it provides less chance of identity theft. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because you do have to watch for it overheating if you use it a lot at one time. It will stop and let you know that it is overheating though so you can come back and use it again after it cools down.

The Insignia - 10 Sheet Crosscut Shredder in gray cuts up the paper like it's paper. no overheating and no issues to report at this time. It runs like a champ. Would recommend.

Shredder is compact and shreds in square unreadable quarter of an inch pieces. Easy to use and excellent buy for price on sale at Best Buy. Highly recommend. No regrets in my purchase.

This is a good shredder for home use. The size is good and you can shred up to 6 pages at once. I however shred only 4 at a time. Good produce at a good price.

Needed a shredder to replace my old one that I got destroyed in a flood. This insignia shredded seemed like it made the most sense due to pricing and what I needed it for. It has not disappointed! My old shredder would bog down with multiple sheets where as this shredder still does a nice job with 5-6 sheets. Also, this shredded doesn't get jammed up with paper when it gets full to where I can't get the paper out. My old shredder would jam up and run continuously. This shredder was a great purchase and definitely gets the job done!

I shopped around while, I mean did some research on my phone to find the best value for a paper shredder.I saw some reviews saying when that the blades they were all rusted. I just went ahead and purchased the shredder and I’am happy with it. No rust on the blades. I like the size comparable to my old shredder.

Very happy with this purhase! I was actually pleasantly surprised that it does not only shred the paper into vertical long strips but into really small pieces. It can even shred credit cards, great value for the money!

This shredder literally saves my marriage. My dog shredded the cord to my last shredder and I had to do what any person with a passion for shredding personal docents for security reasons would do. I drove as fast as I could to the Best Buy (the speed limit, fellas. A guy with a passion for shredding always follows the law) and asked the nearest blue shirt where the shredder are located. He pointed and I set my eyes in this beauty. You don't have to break the bank for this Messiah among men! Oh, boy was I glad I picked this one out! I can now shred all day long! I shred at night, I shred at lunch, when the wife tells me about my day I shred some more, when the dog won't stop barking I keep shredding and she gets entertained! This shredder is 100% worth the money.

I don't use a shredder often but I wanted something that was small and durable for when I needed one. Between my roommate and myself, I've used it a lot more than was expected. It does great with credit cards and multiple papers.

My old bulky shredder burned out so I went to Best Buy to replace it. This one is very small so it makes storing in nice. Does a great job of shredding my important papers before trashing them. Easy to handle and easy to use.

It works well. I shredded around ~50 sheets but about 2-3 at a time. I didn't mind as I did it while watching TV. It never overheated but there was some powdery substance after (I guess from the shredding?) but not difficult to wipe. Haven't tried the reverse button yet but cleaning the blades took a bit of time. Got it on sale at ~$30. Only used it that one time so time will tell but so far I like it.

This little guy is a BEAST! Prior to this machine I had a one paper at a time shredder that labored over anything thicker than normal printing paper. It took forever to shred important documents like old bills, etc. This guy takes 6 sheets at a time and just eats them up. I have yet to test the credit card shredding ability, but so far I have no reason to doubt its ability to preform. I really like the window so that I don't overfill the container. It's sturdy locking top insures it won't fall over and spill confetti all over the place. It's easy to open and empty and definitely worth the expense.

It is easy to set up! Easy on the space, I tried ten paper envelopes and YES it shred all of it!! I also shredded an old credit card it worked!

The machine was not the cheapest in the store, but looked more durable and it was, it does a simple job of shredding, or it will do up to 10 sheets of paper. Would recommend this one, because it doesn't jam up like the smaller ones do.

perfect size, easy to use, easy to discard the shreds, does exactly what it's supposed to do. Only complaint is how loud it is.

I purchased this after needing a shredder asap. So far so good. It does a good job of shredding through documents and cards. And like many other shredders temporarily stops working when overheaded. To note it's relatively small in size, so handy if you're looking for a small shredder that's also effective. That said I would try to catch it on sale , if the features fit your needs.

I work in an office that has a paper shredder. I always thought that would be nice to have one for home, but would I use it and could I find one at a good price. After a bit of searching I found this one that was an open box, with a great price. I have been surprised on how often I use it. It is a bit noisy, the one at the office is MUCH LOUDER! A great price and a great shredder, could not be happier with my purchase.

For a low cost machine, it does a good job on shredding 1,2, or 3 sheets, more than 4 at a time and it sounds like it's straining. I also like the safety trigger. The only problems I've had are what I consider to be excessive noise from the motor, and when it clogs, it's usually around the side where the motor is located, although I may just not be using the machine correctly. I don't know if it's common to do so with such a machine, but I also have to use needle-nose pliers to clean out left-over shreds.

I purchased this 6 months ago, to replace another brand that didn't last 3 months. This shredder is still working just as good as the day I bought it. It will shred paper and plastic cards. For large amounts of shredding, I do recommend giving it a rest period, it had a burnt plastic smell come out of it, but I haven't experienced that recently, I just let it have a break when I have to shred large amounts of paperwork. Good value for the price.
