It is easy to use..It shreds documents and credit cards with ease..

Easy to use, great for everyday use around the house, overheats easy

Shreds very well. Only issue I have is that the shredded paper tends to ball up underneath the mechanism and I have to open it up and clear it our more than the last shredder I had that failed.

After a high-priced (>$100) shredder quit working after a few months, I looked around for a replacement. My research led to many positive reviews of the Insignia shredder. The price was much less than my previous shredder so I decided to give it a shot. This shredder has been a great addition to my office, handling my shredding needs like a champ. At the end of the year I review my paper documents and this shredder easily handles upwards of 100 pages flawlessly. Keep in mind this number of documents might require a couple of "phases" as the built-in temperature monitor will keep the unit from overheating. If you wait 10-15 minutes, it is ready to go again. I highly recommend this shredder!

It dose it job . I got rid of a lot of junk I didn't need . Don't try to put more than the recommend amount of paper in it will get hot if you do . ( I was trying to hurry to get done before kids got home form school) I let it cool than got back at it . I liked it

Got on a Deal of the Day. Runs good for personal, occasional home use. It has a little trouble with more than a couple sheets, but it does the job. Definitely not for constant or large batches, but works well for occasional at home.

Excellent small volume shredder for home and home office use. The plastic bin isn’t the most sturdy but does a good job supporting the shredder unit.

Great shredder. Replaced a Fellows brand which kept jamming and died one day after the warranty expired. So far I shredded 57 thirty gallon garbage bags of material with no issues and it's still going strong.

Purchased because of great price. Did not expect much, but when I began using it I was surprised and pleased with its power and ability. Six sheets? Have not tried it, but three sheets great. Credit cards are conveniently fed into a center card slot and it eats them up. Very happy with purchase and use.

it is very easy to use, no jamming issues like others i have used.

While this shredder has a 10-page limit, we typically only shred 2-3 pages at a time to keep it from bogging down. We had no difficulty at all with the credit card shredder portion. For those who are shredding only a few documents at a time, this is a great buy.

Works nice , although a bit loud. But works just fine.

Shreds nicely with good capacity, but seems to overheat fairly quickly. I just take it bit slower and it works without needing to so many breaks.

while shredding some old documents my paper shredder died. i didn't want to break the bank on a new one, so i grabbed this Insignia. it gets the job done well, so if you're looking for something without a lot of frills, this is the shredder for you.

I never have large amounts of documents to shred but when those 2 to 5 pages need to be obliterated, it's very nice to have a shredder handy. The Insignia 6-Sheet Crosscut Shredder is small enough to sit next to my desk trashcan but large enough to shred those confidential documents.

A great shredder handles 8-10 sheets with no problem. Quite easy to empty.
