How to review a shredder? Does it shred or does it not shred? The good: It shreds well enough albeit a bit slowly. But hey this is a household with not a lot of shredding to do. We have not found it to overheat in the middle of a job as others have, but that's because we don't have epic shredding sessions. The bad: Well it's a bit (maybe more than a bit) noisy; it's a high pitched sound but for what I paid for this I'll deal with it. The ugly: There isn't any. It works!

Works wonderfully we are totally satisfied, shedding goes smoothly. Looks very nice also, small, stylish. We use it every day for our needs. Impressed with the fact we can shreed cards and cd`s.

Awesome compact machine for standard size work. It may not be a good fit if you are doing it for Commercial use or in a work place where huge amount of pages needs to be shredded all day. It is good for small office and home, it can work smoothly with 5 to 6pages load for around 3minutes. If overloaded with pages (loaded with more than 6pages) for shredding, then it becomes hot within around 1 to 2 minutes and you may need to give machine few minutes to cool down, you have to clean up the cloaked shredder and then can start shredding again.

The shredder seems strong and shreds to small pieces. Shreds credit cards well. Strong shredder for affordable price.

Shreds great and quick. Good size for home office. Bought it a year ago and still works perfectly.

It is larger and does not run hot like the smaller one. Worked better than the one I returned.

Easy to use. Shred thick paper and cards as well. Can overheat but take cools down after a break.

Shredder works well for everything stated in the description. However, if you have a large amount if documents to shred at the same time, don't. I never put more than a few sheets in at a time, and after about 30 mins it got so jammed that it wouldn't even reverse anymore to clear the jam. I had to pull all the little pieces of severely jammed paper out with a pair of needle nosed pliers to get it to run again. I would recommend having a hand brush handy every time you empty the bucket in order to clean out the blades so that won't happen. Lesson learned. Other than that, the shredder works very well.

This is a great inexpensive shred machine for everyday regular use. I do not recommend using for more than a half hour constant. Will over heat and not work the same.

Purchased as a Deal of the Day item. Great value for the purchase. No issues so far, shreds papers and cards as stated. As of now I have not experienced any overheating.

I bought this shredder because I needed to shred some documents that I did not need any more. I got this on sale, and in the first few passes, this shredder is working just as advertised. Once it's time to lubricate it, I plan on using the lubrication sheets to lube the blades. While it does shred documents with staples and credit cards, I have not needed to do those just yet. I want to ensure longevity, so I'll take a few seconds and remove those staples. Credit cards, I'll shred when it's necessary. Great product overall!

I’ve had it for over a month & it’s been holding up pretty well. I needed something to shred my documents such as spam mail & anything with my address on it. I don’t use it that often but it does overheat after about 45mins of continuous use. It takes about 20 mins to cool down. It’s good for random usage but I wouldn’t recommend it for daily continuous use.

As a new homeowner, I have been receiving so much mail! This shredder has made it super easy to safely discard anything with my personal information on it. It works pretty quickly and is a little quieter than I expected. The only downside is that it overheats when using for an extended period of time. Fortunately, after waiting for a few minutes, it works again perfectly.

I looked all over for a reasonably priced and sized crosscut shredder. Kept coming back to this one and I haven't been disappointed. The size of the shredded paper fragments is acceptable for my use. The first day I fed it a big stack of paper I have been holding in my "to be shredded" folder and it ate them all in short order without complaint. It seems well constructed and sturdy especially in consideration of the price and size. You may find cheaper (cost wise) but this thing seems to be a great value.

We bought this shredder to replace one that quit working. We bought the six sheet shredder because it was much cheaper than the ten sheet shredder. It seems to shred well, but it is much louder than our old shredder. The bin is also much smaller, so we will have to empty it more frequently. That seems like a fair trade-off for the lower price.

Had several different shredders and all over heated quickly or jammed easily. We ran this thing ragged for a couple of hours with no issues. Absolutely love it

Luckily I bought this when it was on sale.. It's great when it works, but after about a few times shredding after another it does get jammed and overheated. When jammed you do have to get your pliers and pull the paper out. It's a very lightweight shredder, so you can't be shredding pages after another.
