Perfect for my home use; I highly recommend following the IFU’s regarding the number of ‘pages’ | paper - you can see|hear the machine slowing down on larger loads. Great shredder !

Have had no problems with this shredder to this point.

The shredder does an excellent job in crosscut shredding. The basket is smaller than my previous printer but the same size as the others I looked at. I think for the price it is a good investment for insuring the safety of documents with which you wish to dispose.

Good but overheated after relatively short use. Machine had to be shut off and cooled down before it could be used again. appears to be useful for only light usage.

Love my insignia shredder! Received as a gift and use it daily to shred private paperwork. Unlike other shredders I’ve used, this one doesn’t jam in the cutting fingers.

I purchased this shredder to replace the same model I had for over 10 years. I use this as a backup in case the original one fails after all those years.

Shredder crosscuts documents into tiny squares very quickly and efficiently. It is fairly quiet as compared to the other (standard) shredder that I own, which is twice as loud!

This shredder does a great job. It provides added security by reducing the full sheets that I shred to something the size of confetti. Also the shredder handles cd discs.

Bought this for my husband. He immediately started shredding the bag papers he had and was very impressed. It did overheat after awhile. He did not care, he loves it!

Great shredder smaller than expected but it’s auto shred works great compared to my old one from staples it would run all the time so hence I had to shut the power off

It really helped with all of these papers I had laying around that I didn’t want to throw away because I was worried about people seeing my information and stealing it

So far so good. Haven't had jamming issues but I haven't tried to push a stack of papers through. Wheels are convenient. Decent bin size.

Seems to be a well made shredder for the price. Replaced an old cross cut & the new micro-cut is really small - so very secure also is much quieter than my old shredder

It works okay but heats up right away and stops working. I have to let it cool down. Also, it jams when I put maximum pages of 10, so I always have to feed 1 - 5 pages at a time.

A reliable shredder is as necessary as any appliance, but this shredder is very good quality I was pleased I was able to shred hundreds of old documents around the house to keep things organized, I definitely recommend this shredder.

Works well, a bit loud but not deafening. I no longer have to worry about a dumpster diver finding my sochhh. Worth every penny, kinda messy when emptying out and I don’t see a use for the wheels but whatevs.

We REALLY like our new shredder, it performs very well. If we had it to do over again, we would have chosen a shredder with more page capacity.....our mistake. Thanks for asking! We love Best Buy!!!

Purchased the unit in December 2019. Had a great experience with its ability and functionality. However, Somewhere in late February, the feeding function just stopped. The reverse gears worked fine...just could not feed anything into any longer. Cleared feeder...Checked unit out completely. No change. Contacted Technical Support who could not offer me anything except to take it back to the store and have them check it out. Maybe I just received a lemon?? Don't know. All I know is that I was extremely happy with my purchase until this.

I had a shredder advertised as a micro-shedder before but this Insignia Microcut shredder does such a better job. I feel very secure in shredding financial documents now that I have this.
