From previous reviews I expected this shredder to be more powerful and shred papers without a huge effort. When shredding it is slow and sounds like its dying. The max amount of papers you can shred without issue is 5! Wish it had more power for the money.

This works very well but it's slow. It is good for home use.

For $120 it is a good purchase. This is replacing a Brothers, which died after 5 long years of use. I am happy with this one so far, but it does tend to get jammed up when you approach the paper limit. Easy to remove tray and clean up.

Not the best but not the worst either it does what it says it will do

Works great, quiet, and low maintenance. I previously had one of the "high-end" shredders before this one and was not anywhere near as happy as I am with this purchase.

This unit is easy to empty out, the bin window lets you see when it is time to empty and does not leave a mess when puling bin out. Replaced my cheap unit which the bearings burned out. On Occasion use a sheet of paper with cooking oil to lubricate the cutting teeth and should last for a while.

So far, so good. It has worked so far for what I got it for.

Good price! and Overheat lamp is really useful for me!

Works great! Can shred multiple papers no problem without getting stuck or over heating

I need to shred atleast 40-50 sheets a day of protected information and this does it quick and effectively. Even shreds old credit cards and CD/DVD's which is a plus.

This is by far the best shredder I have purchased, it will devour any thing you receive in the mail. Old credit cards are no problem as well as old Cd's and dvd's.

The best thing about this shredder is that it cuts in both directions so that you don't have to worry about your scraps giving away personal information. The only downside is that it over heats if you use it for too long.
