The shredder does a good job of shredding paper into fine bits. It is a little bit noisier then my old strip shredder. It can also shred CDs or DVDs but I haven't tried it for that yet. It does shred credit cards. I don't shred items for more than a few minutes at a time, so I cannot comment on using it continuously. I believe that there is a warning about not using it for more than 5 to 10 minutes in a row. Otherwise one has to wait about 45 minutes for it to cool down. I gave it 4 stars because I haven't had time to assess its durability.

I'm really loving this product. I specially like how simple it is to use and like how the instructions were very simple and easy to understand and follow. They even give you a few troubleshooting tips so in case anything happens you will know what to do about it! I only wish the had given an explanation as to how could I clean the shredding area in case thick papers ever get stuck on it. Yeah you have the reverse option but it doesn't bring them completely out, they're still inside and I would like to be able to clean that. Otherwise for that inconvenience I consider this product perfect! They get my stamp of approval!

Easy to set up, easy to use, and well worth it. Literally chops the paper so small, you can’t read anything. Does what it supposed to do.

I love this shredder. It does a great job for me and is easy to remove the shredded paper with a trash bag.

I bought this for my home office. I love it. Its quiet and shreds fast. I have not had any issues. I'm getting a second one for my mom

I love it, it is quiet and really chops up the junk mail I receive. It is also easy to empty and move. I am so glad I made the right decision.

I liked the Insignia Paper Shredder's style when I saw it at Best Buy in 2017. It can be rolled around the house on wheels and there is a viewing panel in front of the shredder which enables a person to note when it's time to empty the basket. It's easy to use. Multiple papers, junk mail, and credit cards can be shredded. When it was time to replace the shredder, I was fortunate to have found the same brand and style at Best Buy!

I am so happy with this purchase of this shredder. I have a lot of personal documents that I don't want in the regular trash. It shreds up to ten sheets at a time. It said you can put paper through with staples. I was a little nervous, but it worked with no problems. You also can shred a credit card, one at a time. This product was truly worth the investment, the paper shreds real fine, and I feel comfortable with the results. Great product

My old shredder that I got from Office Depot many years ago went South. Have a ton of old documents from years past that needed shreding. This is the cheap way of doing it without hiring a company to do the job. Bought this at $119, but had some gift cards to bring it down to $89.00. A week later the price came down to $89 hence Best Buy put $32 back onto my Credit Card. This thing kicks butt. Shreds CDs as well as paper and old credit cards with ease.

I purchased this shredder as my old shredder was failing after a few years. This one is actually better than my last one as the can tilts out and away from the shredder and comes out the same way so you do not have to lift the shredder to empty the shreds. It also does a cd or credit card as well with very small shreds.

Size of the shredder is square enough where it can be tucked away. For its size it’s surprisingly not that loud. However, every now and then a sheet or two will have a couple of pieces that won’t be cut all of the way.

Have had other shredders but none compare to this one. It is quieter than any i have had and has plenty of power for what i need, even for credit cards.

It does its jobs so far. I use it lightly to shred the document and junk mail with my personal data on it. Not sure if it’ll be overheated (like my previous one for office use) when shredding 40+ pages at once.

So far this shredder performs great. Takes 10 pages without a problem. Very quiet

Has not jammed like my last shredder. Can handle more sheets at a time for completing big jobs.

This shredder is easy to use and the drawer pulls out effortlessly to be emptied. I also love that this is on wheels.

I've only tried to put 3 sheets through @ a time, so far there have been no issues, haven't tried cd's yet. But have put the semi plastic cards from solicitor mail, they go through easily. Easy to clean up when done.

So far it has eaten everything it’s been given. Machine if fairly quiet when in operation and seems well built.

Its a best buy product, for its price you're hard pressed to find another brand for its price. I used it in my home office. It is reliable and quiet
