It worked for 10 minutes, then quit. Took it back. Do not buy.

Worked for 1 month what else do you need to know about it???

I had read other feedback here before I decided to go for this model, and I was concerned at first when I saw customer complaint it would not shred 10 pages, but reading the manual, where it clearly states that the number of pages depends on the thickness of the paper. 10 pages at 75g/qm, which means we all use thicker paper, usually 88 or 92/qm. Answers all questions, correct? I love this machine, the wheels work well, even on carpet, the containers is easy to empty, it shreds all my papers correctly in extremely small pieces, it does not overheat easily as some here say, I scanned a big pile of papers, something like 500 pages in a few minutes with no problems at all. Perfect for me!

Best shredder they have and talk about overloading.

States maximum 10 sheets to shred. Overloads on 3 sheets shredding. Will never buy this brand again. Way over priced.

I got this to replace a shredder that lasted many years. Thanks to the neverending flow of junk mail I had plenty to shred in the few days it took for me to replace it. The first thing I noticed was that this was far quieter than my previous model. The cut is nice and small and the window in the front lets you easily see how full the basket is. The basket pulls out nice and easily for quick emptying. The only thing I would like to have is a bin full sensor, there is a window, but it is lower than your eye level so you don't get a good look without bending down, which could lead to an overfilled barrel. Overall I am happy.

This pile would jam up with three or four pages at a time, then overheated after about 10 minutes of use. Took 2 hours to cool down enough to use again. Junk.

Thus product does everything it's suppose to. I was surprised how much it could do. I was impressed how small it shredded them done to. The noise level was not too bad at all. I didn't put the wheels on because I'm not sure where I'm going to put it yet. Just bought some lubricant sheets to keep it in tip top shape

If you shred your mail and small amounts of paper. Very small this is the shredder for you. But smaller ones can be had for less money that do the same job. Not impressed.

This seems to be a very good shredder that shred papers, cd, credit cards, etc into small .1 x .4" rectangles.... Feel safe with this size. The unit operates quietly and smoothly... We shredded many papers with the following approximate results: Bin was full after approx 450 pcs 8.5x11" shredded paper The unit Overheat light did illuminated after approx 1000 pcs and we needed to wait approx 45 minutes before we could continue shredding. It seems like the motor could be a little more powerful but maybe that comes with a more expensive shredder. This shredder should be great for everyday shredding ... but might be undersized for a business office or large volumes. Shredding 200 papers at a time is a breeze with this shredder.

Bought this to shred some paper and it kept on heating up and turning off. Had to wait about 15 minutes every time.

After reading many reviews i maade sure not to over stuff it so that i have no malfunction issues. Everything so far has been working, enjoy that it has wheels and can move from room to room if needed. Good for the price

Shreds paper into small pieces like confetti. Good size paper shredder not to bulky or small. Nice that you can roll it in and out we you need it.

I purchased this to replace my small office shredder that finally left me hanging. This comes already assembled so all you have to do is open it, plug it and start shredding away. The pieces that left are very small, almost like confetti, very pleased with this shredder, not too loud, pay a little more and get this model. Once the container get full just pull it out and dump it, don't hassle with buying a shredder where you have to take off the top and then have to worry about making a mess. I believe Insignia makes shredders at 3 different price points. But this worked best for me.

great shredder fast it dose the job done easy to use

I have had this shredder for years, never had a problem. I don't use it heavily but have had occasions when I have done extensive shredding. Works perfectly every time. Nothing super fancy about it. It just does the job for moderate use, which I suppose is what most of us buy a shredder for.
