This is the best paper shredder I have ever used. It is do much quieter than my last one. It seems to shred a little slower, but I can shred a lot of documents without it getting warm enough that it shuts down. I loaned it to my Dad and he liked it so much, he purchased one for himself!

getting rid of old papers from 2002 - it took about 6-8 minutes of continuous shredding - filled the bin - easy to remove and dump

This device allowed me to avoid continuing paper clutter in our new home. I now have the new habit of immediately shredding what I do not need to keep and cutting down on paper clutter in my bedroom and living room areas. Definitely winning now that this is incorporated into my mail review and work paper review processes.

Was replacing a shredder and on the replacement the small details that I didn't have on my previous one make a tremendous difference - it's on wheels so easy to get out of a small space also has a pull out bin to remove paper- I used to have to lift off the top which always created a mess and the sideways pull out bin eliminates mess. Would buy this one again just for those 2 details

My old one was still working fine, but you had to lift the top off to empty the bin. It was heavy and awkward and noisy. So when I was able to get this on sale I grabbed it. I love that it’s on wheels and that you can just slide out the trash bin. Very happy with Purchase and already passed along my old one.

This thing shreds as advertised. Don’t go too crazy and try to shred 20 pages. Easy pullout container to empty.

It handles the 10 sheets or credit cards fine. works fast and is much quieter than my last shredder

Great product overall. It replaced my last Best Buy shredder which I destroyed by shredding tons of old paperwork when I moved to Minnesota from Denver. Lol. The unit is great as it shreds CDs, credit cards, paper, etc with ease. No complaints here. Worth the money.

Easy to use, good size for my home and handles the job.

This shredder works as advertised, it makes quick use of both CD's and DVD's and shreds paper that no one could put back together. The pull out dispenser is easy to use and better than my old shredder that you had to remove the top of the shredder to empty.

The construction of this paper shedder does not feel flimsy. It is easy to operate and shed the paper into fine pieces. Not the quickest one and for my home office use it is plenty. Add bonus is that it comes with four small wheels so it is easy to move it around.

I LOVE THIS SHREDDER. IT IS FAST AND QUITE. I LOVE THE WAY IT SHREDS.

We purchased the Insignia™ - 10-Sheet Microcut Shredder - Black to help de clutter our home office from years of storage of unused documents. Excellent choice. We use it on a weekly basis now and it has helped keep our office stay neat and I am comfortable that our personal information can not be retrieved from the documents. Glad we chose the Micro shredder. Highly recommend.

Brought this item for a Christmas gift for my grandfather he loves it and it actually shredded a little more then 10 sheets at a time

My husband had been trying to get a new shredder since ours got slow and would burn out easily. This was such a nice upgrade!! It’s got a big bin that doesn’t need emptying often and the size of the shreds is tiny!!

Does a great job. Performs as stated. Shreds to very fine pieces. Relatively quiet.
