I needed a shredder because my old one no longer worked due to a jam. With it being tax season I needed one to shred multiple sheets at one time. The micro cuts allow more sheet to be shredded before having to emptying the hopper than the cross cut, which I like.

Excellent paper shredder for home use. Replaced a shredder I've had for 5 years. Although this one is half the price as my previous Embassy unit, it performs much better. Works as good as $200 shredders. Added the Best Buy extended warranty so if it breaks I will simply get another one.

Bought to replace a cheaper cross-cut which did not cut small enough, with the added bonus of a CD shredder. Used it to shred some old unused checks. Went through about 500 of them without any issues. The pieces weren't the smallest I've seen, but they were small enough to be an adequate deterrent for household papers. I then used it to shred ancient backups on CDs and DVDs. Went through about 300 in one go without any issues either. The CD/DVD pieces end up in about 1" strips, which is larger than I expected, given the paper size. But since my backups weren't particularly sensitive, it wasn't a big deal to me. But I wouldn't use it to shred anything sensitive. Despite all the above, my unit didn't overheat or get jammed. Quite a capable shredder.

The microcut shredder has been pretty good so far I have shredded a lot of paperwork it’s a little slow to me but I understand it’s cutting it in to little pieces I haven’t had no problems so far would I recommend this shredder yes I would

Worth the cost, works really well. We had about a years worth of shredding sitting around and got through it in about 5 days with this guy. Does overheat, all shredders do but it takes a while before it does which means you can get a lot done. Only needs to cool for about 30-45 minutes and you can come back to it.

What a workhorse! Picked this one up on sale after I had been looking at it for a few months. It shreds to totality. When I go to empty it out, the paper is almost powder! Medium noise, large collection bin, and complete shredder. Awesome product!

great product for the price and does excellent job

I got tired of tearing up all the junk mail that comes in with personal information on it. This shredder almost makes it fun to use! The only drawback is when shredding things like credit cards it does not cross cut, it still leaves information visible so I had to re-shred those. I now put everything in the front slot so it turns into confetti.

This thing is very quiet and its cuts very small. My old one would not cut as small and it made the shreds fluffy which would made the bid hold mush less. I could shred probably four times as much before emptying.

Doesn't clog. Cuts paper into fine pieces. Easy to use.

Paper shredder works great, but if you have a ton of documents saved up that need to be shredded, do know that when it overheats it needs about 30 minutes to cool down before you can do another run.

Love this shredder, it gets the job done quickly and it not overly loud.

Just perfect. If you want a sheeder you need to get something like this. I have had cheaper ones and they do not last. This one so far seems like it is top of the the line and just love using it. I have not had any trouble with it yet.

I ordered this shredder online and it has not disappointed yet. Keep an eye on it for the daily Best Buy deals as that’s where I saved approximately $40 on it. The treads up to 10 pieces of paper and I can also shred CDs or DVDs. It does run a little bit slow but it does a fantastic job.

I've had shredders that you put more than 2 papers and get stuck and you have to hit reverse enough times in order to get it to work. With this one I always put enough papers and it goes right through it! It's very convenient.

I’ve had it for almost two years now and dose it’s shredding with ease from credit cards to about 12 sheets of paper it eats it up and hasn’t failed and trust me when i say I’ve put it through hell lol

Eventhough I had difficulty getting someone to help I did FINALLY get someone to take the time to take me to the product I was looking for, being that it is located in an area that is not visibly marked. I am enjoing my product because it is easy to operate, even my young grandchildren are able to operate it.

For the price it works real well. I emptied a box of papers and the shredder never over heated. It slows down when feeding max sheets (10), so I just continued feeding 3-4 sheets with no issues.
